Scientists discovered that these branched chain amino acids enhanced growth of the plant by providing protein synthesis into the tissue of the leaves so that they do not tear as they would normally without these branched chain amino acids. The herbicides(plants) produce a certain amount of energy as a repercussion of the synthesis of these branched chain amino acids.
